Sertoma is a service-oriented club that has been in existence for over 45-plus years. Without a doubt, it’s the personalities and dedicated spirits of its members that make the club succeed. Tampa East Sertoma is a versatile group of guys from all walks of life. Ranging in age from 35 to 85+, they are an unlikely group in many ways, but they have something in common that binds them together – a desire to help others and give back to the community. Giving back to the community takes many forms for this organization who hold fundraising events throughout the year to support a number of other charitable organizations. What makes this club different is that while they work hard to help others, they do it with laughter, tomfoolery and lots of genuine fun. The camaraderie and friendship the members share is special, and they all say it’s something they find nowhere else. No matter what the project or event, the members of Tampa East Sertoma give unselfishly of their time and abilities, and they enjoy every minute of it.
