My car does not run. Can I still donate it?
In all probability yes, please call to discuss in detail.
Will you pick up my car?
Liberty Manor for Veterans will either pick up your automobile or send a tow truck to pick up the  vehicle.
The driver will need:
•    the car keys
•    a title to your car
•    your signature/notary to reassign the title to the car
How do I estimate the value of my car, for my tax deduction?
As of January 1, 2005, the law allows a deduction equal to the gross proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle.  Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
How do I claim my tax deduction?
You should include the sale proceeds of your vehicle as an itemized deduction on your tax return for the year in which you make the donation. The  instructions for IRS Form 8283, “Noncash Charitable Contributions” explain what to do if your non-cash donations, including the vehicle, are worth more than $500 in a given year.
