The Liberty Manor initiative offers a unique opportunity to support some of our most deserving yet under funded members within our community – veterans. For that reason, Liberty Manor was organized as a 501(C)3, EIN 02-0775720 non-profit organization with the objective of promoting the developmental and social needs of veterans who have served our country, fought for our independence, but fallen victim to homelessness. Most people are unaware that the Veterans Administration only provides housing to veterans that suffer from substance abuse or mental health; therefore veterans that do not have this disability do not receive the benefit of housing. The mission of Liberty Manor is to provide transitional, supported housing to honorably discharged veterans by establishing long-term objectives designed to attribute to self-sufficiency.
Another option we might suggest is to make a donation in lieu of a birthday gift or on special occasions or to honor someone who has deceased. Consider continuing a legacy by making a donation to a deserving veteran who is otherwise struggling perhaps because his career has come to an end due to an unforeseen disability. The VFW has a meritorious motto, “Honor the deceased by helping the living.”
When you make a contribution to Liberty Manor we will send a letter acknowledging your donation with a certificate honoring the deceased. The letter indicates how deeply honored the veterans of Liberty Manor are that you cared to see the legacy of the deceased continue by offering a donation in their name. Might there be peace in knowing that the deceased would be especially honored to know that others are paying homage by offering sponsorship to this meritorious mission that is intended to assist honorably discharged veterans gain independence.
You can stand proud, knowing that your donation will benefit those who have served our country honorably and made the greatest sacrifice of all by protecting the freedom that we all enjoy today. This initiative offers us a great opportunity to pay homage in a significant way. Contributions made to the Liberty Manor initiative are long lasting and serve as a valuable investment in the future of these forgotten veterans. Help us create a legacy which will be enjoyed for many generations to come!
