About 11% of our population are veterans, sadly, VA statistics indicate nearly 25% of all vets are homeless – that number is increasing as veterans are returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. This charity golf tournament is intended to help raise funds for a shelter for homeless veterans that receive referrals from veterans as far away as Puerto Rico. Consider a foursome from your club to participate or a generous donation to help a veteran procure housing during these extreme cold temperatures.
